Why Young Graduates Seminar In France? Gifty Kyerematen
The National Youth Ministry of the Church of Pentecost (COP)- France organized the second edition of the Young Graduates Professionals Seminar at Hôtel Ibis, Paris Berthier on 11 November 2014. The Seminar was designed for youth from COP and other churches who endeavored to complete tertiary studies in spite of social, economic and family challenges and have entered the professional world with promising career paths ahead.
The main objective of the Seminar was to motivate them to start their personal Finance right, right from the beginning of their professional lives. Hence, the theme this year was Managing Personal Finance and topics included Maintaining Financial Discipline, today’s avenues for investment and creating personal wealth.
The speakers were Mr Paul Mante of Ecobank Ghana. Mr Mante is an author, a motivational speaker and an Elder in COP Ghana, He was recently selected as one of the 20 young rising stars of Africa in Finance; Mr Loïc Dorgeret, Director-General of Victory Consulting Paris; and Mr Edward Effah, CEO of Fidelity Bank Ghana who shared his inspirational story of how he established Fidelity Bank which now has 80 branches and still counting. Mr Effah was recently awarded the Marketing Man of the Year 2013 by CIMG!
Our gratitude also goes to the National Head of COP-France, the District Pastor of Paris and National Patron of the Youth Movement for their support.
To God be all the glory for a successful Seminar!
