President Akufo-Addo meets with Ghanaians in France
On Monday, 8th July, 2019, the President interacted with members of the Ghanaian community resident in France, as part of his official visit to France.
He spoke about the positive impact the siting of the Secretariat of the African Continental Free Trade Area will have on Ghana. He outlined the policies and programmes being implemented by his Government to improve on the living standards of Ghanaians and reiterated his commitment to fulfilling the promises made to the Ghanaian people in the run-up to the 2016 elections.
Tuesday, 9th July 2019 – Addressing The France-Ghana Business Forum
On Tuesday, 9th July 2019, Nana Addo addressed the France-Ghana Business Forum, at an event which was held at the Ministry for the Economy and Finance, in Paris.
He indicated to the Forum that Ghana is a haven of peace, security and stability, indeed, the safest country in West Africa where legitimate investments are protected. He continued by saying that Ghana is a country where the principles of democratic accountability and respect for the rule of law, individual liberties and human rights are now firmly entrenched in our body politic, and where the separation of powers is real in promoting accountable governance under the rule of law.
As part of the official visit of the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, #France and #Ghana signed several agreements including investments, fight against climate change, volunteering and the promotion of studies in France. 🇫🇷🇬🇭
