Advice to stake holders especially those confussing the public. Ghana is not a lawless state whereby anyone can do anything he likes. We are governed by a constitution. Chieftancy act 1971 reviewed 2008 Act 759 number 57 defines a chief as “a person who, hails from appropriate family and lineage and has been validly NOMINATED, ELECTED, or SELLECTED and ENSTOOLED as a chief or queenmother in accordance with the relevant customary law.
Qualification is given so Nana Baafuo come again

Does it mean that Ghanaians in France should call for a vote in the choosing of our chiefs?

The question is what does the Ghanaian community in France want? There should be a consensus not imposition either by NOMINATION, by ELECTION or, by SELLECTION. eg. What kind of party & funeral chiefs, / ceremonial chiefs/ functional or administrational… the list goes on and on. The era of ignorance is no more proper things must be done. Ghanaians must move forward not backward.
