JDM37HOSPBreaking protocal is not ethical but at times, natural instinct makes it difficult keeping some events and incidents within. The President visited journalists involved in the accident at the Yaa Asantewa and Tamakloe wards to find out for himself how they are responding to treatment.

Walking to where his vehicle was parked, the President could not help it,tears started rolling down and all souls around broke down concurrently. This was what he told one of the medical officers who escorted him to where his vehicle was parked.

“You can deface a monument but you cannot extinguish a name that has come to remain a history in the minds of the people. He was glowing tribute to our departed brother. He said “The young man displayed professionalism throughout his years working as correspondent at my office as Vice President and as President. A seasoned journalist by all standards.I will give an eloquent testimony of his quality at the right time,we have lost a shrewd and hardworking brother but God knows best”

The President asked the medical officers to continue with their good work and prayed for God’s strength for them.He consoled the bereaved family. The Communication Minister Dr Edward Omane Boamah had earlier in the day spent time with the family to put together preliminary arrangements for his burial.

Adieu.
