Hon. Osei Mensah Michael President of the Ghanaian Community in France Council GHACIF, was present to welcome the star Kwabena Kwabena to France and also on behalf of the Federation of Ghanaian Diaspora in Europe which he Presides as well. In his absence, he chose to encourage the Akwaaba group and the sponsors to save the expected joy.
He told the sponsors that their attempt was good for our country Ghana’s linkage with it’s diaspora. He said it was a good magnet to draw the Ghanaian youth abroad closer to the taste and likes of their compatriots back home.
He advised Akwaaba France to seek to promote Ghanaian musicians abroad also in Ghana. Ghana needs to know that it is being positively duplicated abroad, he added. He mentioned ” Los Grumos, Secteur Double, Bosslife, Maa U,Lady Rose, Ohemaa Gloria, Elder Charles Asare etc,,, and that was for France alone.He expressed pride in the initiative and promised to facilitate future endeavours of the like in future should his two umbrella organisations be solicited.
