GIMPA and the French National School of Administration team up for a civil servants training

A training entitled “Policy implementation in public sector” dedicated to civil servants of the central government of Ghana, was held on January 26, 27, 28, 2016, at Civil Servant Training Center, Accra. This training was organized within the framework of a partnership between GIMPA and the French National School of Administration (ENA), supported by the Solidarity Priority Fund n°2014-02 (FSP) entitled “Strengthening the accountability of Ghana’s central and Local Government”.

This training was the last among a series of four, held between September 2015 and January 2016, and dedicated specifically to civil servants from Health, Education and Governance fields. “Policy implementation in public sector” training was attended by 16 participants who are mainly Directors or Deputy Directors from different authorities: the Office of the Head of Civil Service (OHCS), the Ministries of Health & Education, the Ministry of Local Government, Public Sector Reform Secretariat, and Local Government Service.
The trainer, M.Bernard ZAHRA, Director of social Cohesion in Val de Marne Department in France, has successfully generated fruitful interactivity with the participants, until designing a case study practice on school feeding programme, to be implemented following the training.
