The church community in France is in great shock and mourning the departure of Ben Mensah Bonsu which sad event occurred at the Argenteuil General Hospital on Saturday April 9, 2016.
This separation has evoked pangs of sorrow and misery among those he left behind. The hurt is real and the pain,….. agonizing.
A gentle man with a wonderful heart, Elder Ben, as he was affectionately called, was a caring person of great understanding who enthusiastically gave twenty four years of his life in and beyond service to the Church he helped establish here in France. He was held in high regard within and outside the church community, and would be remembered as a kind and generous man.
Ben Mensah Bonsu was a worthy and valuable officer, universally respected as a man of his word, principled and dependable. The records of the church bear testimony of the estimation in which he was held by his people. In the prime of his life and in the midst of his usefulness, the Lord, who does all things according to His good pleasure, has seen fit to remove Ben Mensah Bonsu from Church Titan, Church Militant to The Church Triumphant. Leaving Martha, the wife of his youth to mourn the loss of a kind husband, and five children, Elisha, Sampson, Sarah, Esther and Anna, to mourn the loss of a loving father; and this Church Community to mourn the loss of a faithful teacher, warrior and pillar of the gospel, and one whose faithful commitment will long be cherished in remembrance, by many of us.
We pray that the Almighty GOD will grant the Bonsu Family courage and strength as they navigate these difficult times.
We will deeply miss his presence.
