The French President Francois Hollande has denounced what he called a ‘monstrous terrorist attack’ in Nice, that has killed at least 84 people.

A lorry drove into a crowd celebrating Bastille Day, France’s national day.
The attacker, who fired into the crowd as hundreds tried to escape, was shot dead and has not been named.
A nation-wide state of emergency has been extended and 10,000 soldiers are being mobilised.
