Les discussions ont principalement porté sur la lutte contre le changement climatique et les axes de coopération entre le Ghana et l’Europe dans ce domaine. A cette occasion, François Pujolas a présenté au ministre Kwabena Frimpong Boateng le projet de Pacte Mondial pour l’Environnement, que le Président français Emmanuel Macron soumettra prochainement aux Nations Unies. Le Pacte doit regrouper les principes communs devant guider l’action des Etats pour protéger et préserver notre planète.» [/toggle]

The Ambassador of France in Ghana hosted yesterday, at the Residence of France, the Minister of Environment, Science and Technology, Kwabena Frimpong Boateng, as well as the ambassadors of the member countries of the European Union that are present in Ghana. Their discussions were principally regarding the fight against climate change and about the stages of cooperation between Ghana and Europe in this domain.

On this occasion, François Pujolas presented to the Minister Kwabena Frimpong Boateng the Global pact for the environment, that the French President Emmanuel Macron will soon submit to United Nations. This pact should regroup the common principles to help guide the action of countries to protect and preserve our planet.
