Ghanaians in France have joined the Queen Mother of the Ghanaian Community in France, Ohemaa Ajoakour to celebrate her 20th anniversary of enstoolment.

The event took place last Saturday 23/03/2013 at the La Briche Grande Salle at Saint-Denis near Paris.
Nana Osei Asamoah Abusuapanin of Opuniase, chaired the function in lieu of Nana Opuni Dua Ware 1 who happened to be outside the country. In his address, he enumerated the merits of Nana Ajoakour and called on all to be generous to her at this ceremony in appreciation for all what she has done for her people.

Several testimonies about Nana Ajoakour were given by dignataries and members of the Community.
The anniversary was attended by the general public, GhanafoheneAbediakyire Nana Charles Ansah, [toggle title=”View all photos” state=”close”]

[/toggle]Federation of Ghanaian Associations in France leaders, FEDGHAF Pdt Mr. Sertogie and all traditional chiefs of the Ghanaian Community in France.
Several Ghanaian associations within the Paris region, were officially represented.

Present were, Nayla Yaa Konadu Lateef  Miss Ghana 2013, Jenny Ampate, Azonto Queen France and Mama Kabahemaa France 2013. The Ghana Embassy was represented by Miss Rita Hagan the Consul and Mr. Antwi. Ohemaa Dokua came with a beautiful cultural entourage from London.

The special guest this time was Grace Omaboe aka Maame Dokono. Together with the Maame Dokua team from U.K, they received copies of « A Call for a Ministry of Ghanaians in Foreign Lands with Two Subsidiary Parliamentary Seats from Each Continent » from Hon. Osei Mensah (the Author). He was the Co-Chairman of the event.
