Amanda Antwi, a 21year old salesgirl from Toulouse south of France on Friday 11th November 2011 beat seven other beautiful ladies from Strasbourg, Montpellier and Paris to take home Miss Ghana France 2012 crown.
After proving herself by displaying remarkable , inner beauty, good stage manners and articulacy at the final stages of the Miss Ghana France event, which was held in a prestigious Espace Venise hall , the judges had no other choice than to give her the coveted title. It was not obvious from the beginning as to which one of the seven ladies who mounted the stage that night could wear the crown.
Present that beautiful night which brought nearly a 1000 Ghanaians from all over France, Europe and Ghana especialy the youth to Sarcelles 95200 were, the Consul Rita Hagan Ghana Embassy in Paris, Ghanahene of France Nana Kennedy, Ghanahemaa of France Nana Ohemaa Adjoa Kour, Nana Opuni Duah Ware I Chief of Opuniase,Oyokohene Nana Attah, Mfantefohene of France Nana Ato Smith, Ewe Chief of France Nana Akoto, Nana Adjei, Nana Yaw Frimpong, FEDGHAF President Mr. Koffi Setodji , GHATAS President Mr. Yaw John Nyamekye, GHACIF President Hon. Osei Mensah, Enoch Effah, Miss Mali France, Miss Centreafrique, Ghana movie star Nana Osei Kwame Obrempong and Miss Ghana France 2011 Mathilda Mensah who crowned our beauty queen.
Amanda won numerous prices including a return ticket to Ghana sposored by Brussels Airlines.
The event was Gold Coast Events’ second edition of Miss Ghana France which has now become most popular and awaited event within the Ghanaian Community and other communities since its formation October 2010.
