COP21, Road to Paris : Clean Cooking Forum 2015, Accra

Yesterday 12th November 2015, HE François Pujolas, Ambassador of France to Ghana, was invited to present the forthcoming Paris Climate Change conference. In his speech, he explained what one could expect from the commitments made by the developed as well as emerging countries.

The ambassador said: “Global Alliance for Clean Cook-stoves is very important and it is one of the most valuable initiatives to fight against climate change, guiding us towards a more sustainable development.”

Grant Shapps, Minister of State, UK Department for International Development, who is one of the members of the leadership council of the Global Alliance for Clean Cook-stoves, delivered the keynote speech in which he explained the energy access for cooking with reference to the new Sustainable Development Goals, adopted by the international community.
