The President of the Federation of Ghanaian Diaspora in Europe(FEGHADE), Hon. Osei Mensah Michael who doubles as the President of the Ghanaian Community in France Council (GHACIF), was present at the inauguration of the Ghana Diaspora Fund last 31/02/2015. In the above picture he is seen congratulating Nana Serwah Frimpongmaa the GDF President.
He took the opportunity to announce the birth of FEGHADE and what it stands for. Naturally, he said that GDF had his support and he lauded the noble initiative.
FEGHADE is the major outcome of the Diaspora Engagement Policy meeting organised by European Union’s miEUx and Ghana’s Ministry of Foreign affairs held in Brussels last October 2015.
FEGHADE’s vocation is to encompass all segments of Ghanaian Communities and Groupings in Europe. The President in a short speech invited leaders of GDF and the Ghanaian Community in France to come and interact with the founding members of FEGHADE at Disneyland’s Marriot Villa Hotel where it will hold it’s inaugural meeting on the 21/02/2015 .
