The President of the Federation of Ghanaian Diaspora in Europe, FEGHADE, Hon. Osei Mensah Michael will lead a FEGHADE/GHACIF Delegation to pay a visit to Ghana’s Chocolate Stand at Porte de Versailles in Paris today 30/10/2015. Doubling as the President of GHACIF, Ghanaian Community in France Council, he told gifnews that, he will extend Diasporan pride, welcome and solidarity greetings to the presenters of Ghana’s Chocolate at this international stand.
Hon. Osei Mensah leaves tommorrow for Dubai in Asia. In order to gather useful information for FEGHADE Founders and GHACIF, he will use the visit to make feasibility studies on the creation of a Federation of Ghanaian Diaspora in Asia. The idea is to replicate a FEGHADE front on the five continents in order to get an effective universal Diasporan Organization for Ghanaians Abroad. He will be meeting stakeholders. This follows a meeting with Minister Cousellor Peter Owusu Manu, Diplomat-in-Charge of the Diaspora Desk at the Ghana Embassy in France last week where he had the opportunity to expose FEGHADE’s progress and GHACIF’s immediate vision. The Minister Consellor told him how much the Diaspora Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs seeks to bring diasporans closer to Ghana through the missions’ diaspora desks.
