president-mahamaOver the past couple of days, the Presidents of Ghana and of France have addressed the audience at the 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly. On Tuesday 20th September, H.E. François Hollande discussed themes such as the need for the ratification of the COP21 Agreement by 55% of countries present, access to electricity in Africa by 2020 and the Syrian crisis. Yesterday, H.E.John Mahama talked about progress that has been made by African governments with regards to technology and freedom of speech. Additionally, he remarked that Ghana had ratified the Paris Climate Agreement. Both presidents also addressed the need to tackle terrorism which has become a global menace.
