On Invitation, GHACIF, the Ghanaian Community in France Council and FEGHADE, the Federation of Ghanaian Diaspora in Europe, have had the Opportunity to participate in the last version of Ghana’s Business Forum in the Middle East which took place in Dubai from the 2/11/2015 -04/11/2015.
The 03/11/2015 was the climax of the program. It brought in speakers from Ghana, the Dubai Chambers of Commerce, Exhibitors and a cross section of the Ghanaian Communities in the Middle East.
The program was under the chairmanship of His Excellency Daniel Osei, Ghana’s Consul General to Dubai. Major Speakers were, Mr. Kojo Twum, Chairman of the Ghana Free Zones Board, a representative of Ghana’s Minister of Trade, GEPA, Ghana Export Promotion Authority and the GIPC, Ghana Investment Promotion Centre and a Representative of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce.
Representing FEGHADE and GHACIF, Hon. Osei Mensah Michael advised Stakeholders to imply diasporans in their endeavours to sell Ghana products abroad. He said that, with their double edged background i.e. Ghanaian origin and citizenships of host countries, using them will not only cut cost of logistics and promotions but it will also bring about efficiency.
He granted an interview on ”Involving Diasporans in Ghana’s Business Life Abroad” to the Ghana News Agency and the Daily Graphic.
He was accompanied by a GHACIF Patron, Ohemaa Woyegye of Adom FM (a leading Ghanaian Radio Presenter)
