In an interview with the France State Television, France 2 last 25/11/2015 at Saint Denis, Hon. Osei Mensah Michael, President of the Ghanaian Community in France Council,GHACIF,  has asked the French authorities to make the accomodation of tenants and proprietors of 48 rue de la Republique, 93200 Saint-Denis, where the confrontation between the French Police and the Terrorist occurred, a major priority.

The violent confrontation affected the solidity of the building’s structures and it’s foundations. These have obliged the city authorites to relocate occupants of that building, to a Gymnasium at Saint-Denis near Paris. All the families sleep together in a huge hall on individual camping beds. There are babies, under aged children, men and women, husbands and wives. They all live together in that big open hall.

Hon. Osei Mensah who doubles as the President of the Federation of Ghanaian Diaspora in Europe(FEGHADE) coincidentally owns an appartment in that building and his tenants Mr/Mrs. Boakye, who are also Ghanaians have also been made homeless.

Small world.
