MESSAGE TO THE GHANAIAN COMMUNITY

It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that I have watched events in Paris unfold last night. My immediate concern is the safety of all Ghanaians in Paris. Stay in your homes and be vigilante. Keep an eye on the news and do not venture out until the authorities regain full control of the security of the city. Contact your friends and family to reassure them that you are safe.

If any of you have been affected by these heinous acts of terrorism you may call the Embassy on an Emergency phone line: 06 76 52 80 15. This number
is strictly for emergencies connected with the ghastly terrorist attacks on Paris on Friday 13th November. In these trying times it is important that the
Ghanaian Community in France come together and be their brother’s and sister’s keepers.

I wish to assure you through the numerous messages I have received that the government and people of Ghana are thinking of you and praying for your wellbeing and safety in these difficult times. Please stay safe!
