Methodist Church of Ghana, Paris Branch, Receives GHACIF

The President of the Ghanaian Community in France Council (GHACIF) Hon. Osei Mensah Michael, has paid a working visit to the Methodist Church of Ghana Paris Branch last Sunday 30/11/2014.

He was given an enthousiastic welcome by the founding members under the leadership of Reverend Samuel Afrifa.

After the Church’s welcome address which was read by Mr. Johnson Robert, the Ghacif President told the congregation that, his presence there was to thank them on behalf of the Ghanaian Community in France Council for raising high the Ghana Flag in France through their Church.

The President recalled the History of Ghana’s Methodist Church and it’s predominant statuts in Ghana adding that no matter their size in France today, they are Ambassadors of a great Ghanaian religious identity and entity. He encouraged them to grow the church by thinking of creating other branches across France.

Hon. Osei Mensah, said GHACIF rejoices in seeing branches of renowned Ghanaian Churches flourishing in France and he is very grateful to all of them for their support and collaborations in times of need.

The GHACIF leader told the congregation that, GHACIF is a ruler of no person, Ghacif is there to support and serve Ghanaians in France at all possible times. He took the opportunity to brief them on GHACIF’s progress report and it’s 2015 forecast.

Reverend Samuel Afrifa in a short speech on behalf of the Methodist Church, expressed heartfelt appreciation for the President’s visit which he said has brought unto their heart a great desire to forge far. He reiterated the branch’s support to the works of GHACIF. ”Let us know whatever you do and we shall be there to support You” he concluded.
