JEREMIAH 29:7
Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it because if it prospers, you will also prosper.

The prophet, Jeremiah speaking on behalf of God, wrote to the Jewish captives in Babylon to seek the peace of the country, endeavour to promote the prosperity of the country in which they dwell. In the same manner, Ghanaians, living in France or in the diaspora should seek the peace and prosperity of the countries in which they reside.

They should obey the laws and rules of the country, work very hard and pray for success and peace in the country they reside.

This is because if their host countries prosper, they and their descendants will also prosper.
