The Ambassador of France to Ghana, HE François Pujolas, participated in the annual EU/Ghana political dialogue that was held in Accra on the 6th June. The dialogue is part of the Cotonou Agreement that structures the relations between the EU and the African, Caribbean and Pacific countries (ACP). The European Union in Ghana delegation which was led by the EU Head of delegation, William Hanna, comprised the EU countries Ambassadors accredited to Ghana.

The minister of Foreign affairs and Regional integration, Hon. Hanna Tetteh, led the Ghanaian delegation. A wide range of issues were discussed, ranging from security, governance, the fight against corruption, the organization of the 2016 election, economic relations. The EU partners also highlighted the assistance they provide for the development of Ghana of which France is one of the major contributor.
